Bowtie

It is an accessory interwoven with male clothing and unbreakably connected with elegance. Have you ever wondered, from where it emanated and how it conquered the world of fashion?

The Croat mercenaries, at the Prussian wars (17th century), in their effort to link their shirt, placed a neckerchief, tying up the tour from the collar. At an early date this neckerchief, was adopted by the French, with the name cravat (from French Croat), and conquered the world of fashion as sovereign men's accessory.

It is unknown how it took his final form. Traditional pavilion had concrete length (14 -20 inches). They were made for a concrete type of neck. Papillion was a constituted signal of deposited concrete professions. (Architects, economists, governors, lawyers, professors of universities, schoolteachers, waiters and politicians).  In our days, even if the tie is enough widespread and is preferred more, Papillion makes once again his appearance in the fashion world.

There are two types. The self-tie”, it is more classically and better quality; and pre-tied”, they are already tied up.

In my opinion the best Papillion designers, with exceptional innovations, are Charvet, Duchamp and Paul Smith.

A unique accessory, that acquires always more friends, while is diachronic. It constitutes sample of elegance and good style.Who doesn't want to be unique and elegant, combining a good shirt with one particular Papillion?
